FrontRunner is your all-in-one command center for organizing people, tasks, and movement—all without the chaos of group chats or the noise of social media. Built for grassroots leaders, campaign organizers, and community warriors, this app turns your phone into a field HQ. The FrontRunner name was the result of a weeklong brainstorming session between me and the founders, through hundreds of iterations.
FrontRunner simplifies team coordination by combining task management, contact organization, and strategic planning into one sleek app. With a unified activity feed, swipe-to-assign task features, and intuitive contact tagging, it eliminates the need for messy group texts or social media. Everything you need to lead a campaign or community effort—organized, visualized, and mobilized.
Logo Iterations
Early iterations of the logo spanned from the silhouette of an "out-looker", letter combinations and even somewhat of an an inverted version of what we have today. The light, or spark, was inspired by a book cover; a man holding a torch and greek mythology, which became somewhat of a pattern within work for W Strategies and FrontRunner.
The UI/UX
The FrontRunner UX has been a project spanning over many years. Early versions of the prototype were much more political, even with a campaign trail navigator.
The app we have today is a beautiful collection of ideas, simplified to their most necessary form and targeted towards a specific persona of users we have recognized have a need that we can fill. A dead-simple organizational tool that keeps teams of all kinds on track.
