In July, I joined Double Eleven as the first in-house graphic designer for their tactical gear startup, TACLAB. This fast-paced startup environment has been an invaluable experience, fostering strong teamwork and collaboration. One of my first major projects was redesigning the company website. Given the limitations of Shopify themes, I took a creative approach—designing each product listing in Figma and bringing it to life through custom HTML and CSS. Within the first three months, I designed hundreds of ad graphics for Meta and Google platforms, captured and edited product prototype photos, delivered weekly social media posts, and even produced a few fully-animated motion graphic ads using Adobe After-Effects which became leading performers in our set of product ad campaigns.
I joined TACLAB when the REAPER gloves had a set of 5 new colorways in imminent production. The problem? No marketing material or photos. From factory sample images given from the other product models I was able to construct attractive listing photo designs which allowed the company to begin selling products on pre-order before we received stock. The pre-order campaign was a blazing success.
